The alterations and extensions to this detached chalet house in Wiltshire have transformed the existing property into an attractive, stylish and modern house.

The internal layout was remodelled to make better use of the existing space, with a small extension creating additional accommodation. The existing staircase was replaced with a new open-tread to create a more spacious entrance hallway. The new oak treads and curved birch-faced ply balustrades expertly fabricated by Bath based Westside Design, create an impressive new welcome to the home.

Finished within a year, the new house now has considerably better environmental credentials, with high levels of insulation and high-performance windows installed during the works.
